Senior ERPNext Developer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ERPNext Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing, customizing, and implementing ERPNext solutions. This role involves deep technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure ERPNext meets the business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• ERPNext Development:
  • Develop, customize, and enhance ERPNext modules according to business requirements.
  • Design and implement custom scripts, reports, and workflows within ERPNext.
  • Optimize ERPNext features for scalability, performance, and efficiency.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations and solutions.
• Integration and Implementation:
  • Integrate ERPNext with third-party systems such as Shopify, payment gateways, and other APIs.
  • Lead the technical aspects of ERPNext implementations, including system configurations and data migrations.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, consultants, and end users to design solutions that align with business processes.
• System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of ERPNext installations.
  • Address system issues, bugs, and new feature requests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure system security and data integrity are maintained.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Guide and mentor junior developers to improve their skills and knowledge in ERPNext development.
  • Work with project managers and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality coding standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in ERPNext development and customization.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and Frappe Framework.
• Proficiency in MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• In-depth understanding of ERPNext modules such as Accounting, Inventory, Sales, Purchase, HR, and Manufacturing.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Strong understanding of business processes, workflow automation, and system architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
