ERPNext Functional Consultant

Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and skilled ERPNext Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ERPNext implementation, customization, and user training. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements, ensuring the successful implementation and customization of ERPNext across various modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering:
  • Engage with clients and internal teams to understand business processes and requirements.
  • Analyze and document the functional needs of the organization and design ERPNext solutions that align with those needs.
  • Develop functional specifications and provide recommendations for ERPNext modules based on business requirements.
• ERPNext Implementation:
  • Lead and participate in the implementation of ERPNext across various modules, such as Accounting, Inventory, Sales, Purchase, HR, Manufacturing, etc.
  • Configure ERPNext modules according to the organization’s functional needs, including workflows, forms, and reports.
  • Manage data migration and ensure data integrity throughout the implementation.
• Customization and Integration:
  • Collaborate with technical teams to customize ERPNext to meet unique business processes.
  • Assist in integrating ERPNext with other systems (e.g., CRM, eCommerce platforms, etc.).
  • Test and validate system configurations and customizations to ensure they meet functional requirements.
• Training and Support:
  • Provide training sessions and user documentation to ensure end-users can effectively operate ERPNext.
  • Offer post-implementation support and troubleshooting for users, ensuring they can effectively utilize ERPNext features.
  • Monitor system performance and user adoption, recommending optimizations as needed.
• Project Management:
  • Plan and manage ERPNext implementation projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to the project scope.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and timely updates on project progress.
  • Conduct workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience as an ERPNext Functional Consultant or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of ERPNext modules (Accounting, Inventory, Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing, HR, etc.).
• Experience in business process mapping and translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Ability to design workflows, reports, and forms within ERPNext.
• Familiarity with data migration processes and tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with clients and internal teams effectively.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
